Since I graduated from Mining Engineering of Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) in 2011, I worked as an academic assistant in Earth Resources Exploration Research Group in ITB, Bandung, Indonesia. During period of 2011-2014, I increased my knowledge by working as a consultant in LAPI and LPPM ITB. I worked in a team for preparing feasibility or technical studies for mining company. I worked in different mineral types of mineral deposit in Indonesia, such as skarn (Geunteut, Aceh), iron-ore (Aceh, Jambi), epithermal (i.e. Way Linggo, Pongkor, Cibaliung, Papandayan, Gosowong, Toguraci, Kencana, southern part of East Java), orogenic gold deposit (i.e. Awak Mas, Salu Bullo) and porphyry Cu-Au (i.e. Grasberg). I also involved in several geothermal projects in Bandung and Garut, and previously worked in several coal deposits in Kalimantan and Sumatera. During 2010-2015, I visited 21 from 34 provinces in Indonesia for academic work. 

I started my doctorate programme in Leoben, Austria in 2015. I improved my knowledge in ore mineralogy and economic geology by attending different courses and doing a field work in different types of deposits, including in iron ore deposits of Waldenstein and Eisenerz Erzberg, Austria), silver mine in Freiberg, kupferschiefer deposits in Germany (Harz mountains, St Andreasberg), layered igneous complex in Finnish and Swedish Lappland (Kontijaarvi, Ahmavaara, Kemi - FIN), orogenic and IOCG gold deposits within Archean basement (Kittilä, Hannukainen, Pahtavaara, Sattopora -FIN), porphyry copper deposit of Aitik (SE), and iron-oxide mine in Kiruna and its vicinity (SE). I defended my thesis on December 2017.

I can worked independently in a remote area and can easily engaged as a team, either as leader or member. Ore mineralogy is my favourite subject and working with electron microscope (i.e. EMPA, SEM-EDX) is always chalenging. Fluid inclusion characterisation using heating freezing stage, crush leach and laser Raman spectroscopy arousing curiosity. I used LA-ICP-MS to study the trace element and hydrothermal alteration in pyrite, sphalerite and plagioclase feldspar during my PhD study. I presented the results of my scientific work in different countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Austria, Germany and Canada. 

During my leisure time, I always spent my time with my wife and daughter. If the weather is nice, we go hiking or biking with our toddler. I always enjoy being outside in the nature,  also by sharing my knowledge in my personal blog, .
